I saw Dr. Motazedi twice and could not believe how rude and patronizing he was. I have a very complicated medical condition that includes hypothyroidism, adrenal/pituitary abnormalities, and other hormonal problems. Rather than listening to the problems and symptoms I have, he repeatedly just told me he could not press a button and “fix me.” I told him I did not expect him to “fix” me, but that I wanted him to help me feel better than I do. He continued as if I had said nothing at all. Over and over, he spoke over me and ignored my concerns and refused to answer even the most basic questions. I will not go back and see him.
I went to him because I found his name in the Washingtonian’s Best Doctors and have no idea why he was in there. After finding him there, I looked up his credentials and they seemed impressive, but the reality is that he is close-minded and those credentials are not reflected in his bedside manner and patient treatment.
