I was referred to this practice for a DEXA body composition scan; I was told I needed to wait a few minutes while the printer was being fixed. A few minutes became 40 minutes; I explained I was on my work lunch break & was willing to do the test even though a male tech was in the same room as the scan. (I watched about 10 other patients be seen right away and right on time; there was NO back-up for my procedure). I was told by the front desk I would have to undress & that his servicing the printer on one half of the room would get in the way. I was then asked to come back tomorrow; I then asked to speak with the manager and miraculously I was told I could have the scan done at that moment. The man working on the printer was not done and was told to leave the room, and I was told I did NOT have to undress?!?!
Furthermore, the printer for the report was located up front, so this entire time I could’ve had the procedure done, not run over my lunch break, and not gotten in trouble. I had asked for my $ back in the beginning when asked to return the next day, as I didn’t know if the printer would be fixed by then; as I proceeded to leave, I was told I would have to be charged. I was not given any compensation or discount for my time wasted; the manager even asked if it was my first time and if I was referred. I will NEVER refer anyone here again. Poor customer service when the practice doesn’t do what other businesses do; this practice did not apologize, did not comp for my time, and did not ask what they could do to improve my experience.
