Selling Mange Infested Bulldogs
My Complaint: I purchased an English bulldog from Lesa Bearden in October 2014. Since that time my boy bulldog has had two cherry eye surgeries and now he has been recently diagnosed with genetic mange. We purchased our puppy as a household pet but also to breed. We have now been informed by our vet that he can not breed with mange. I contacted Lesa Bearden after getting two different vet opinions to inform her of what was going on. She told me I needed to get a second opinion after I told her we did Lesa then told me oh well just take him to the vet and get him fixed. WHAT? I can’t breed him so you sold me a $2000.00 poor bred bulldog. She then told me that our guarantee papers only say for a deathly illness and that mange in curable. Myself and my vet felt like something should have been done. Stay away from bearden bulldogs cause you take the risk of getting a sick puppy. I have proof and pictures to back up everything I have stated.
