I ordered a custom made silver and turquoise bracelet for $600 from Nancy Bernardine for delivery by Christmas 2001. I chose her business based upon pictures of her goods on her website. Phone calls to her business confirmed what seemed to be a legitimate operation. nI measured and sized the bracelet for my wife, with my wife’s help as “Nancy Bernardine
the artist”” so instructed. It arrived with extensive apologies painfully late in March 2002. It also came entirely too large. After appropriate dicussions with “”Nancy
the artist”” it was returned to be resized. nThough slow to respond I never thought she would simply stop responding. I sent the article insured and she documented receiving it. And then she never returned a further letter
phone call or email. Her internet site continues (and has grown) but the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce doesn’t seem to know of her. nWatch out for her. nI have had no recourse but to complain to the various and sundry agencies
attempt to involve my credit card agency and to make sure I warn others that thieves and scoundrels still exist and sometimes call themselves “”artists.”” nJoenJonesboro
