Best Vacations Ever’ called our house and told us to purchase a vacation package for $350. The package would allow us to stay at hotels in various locations and all they requested from us in return was some feedback on these hotels. This is how the marketing call was structured. So we signed up for the vacation package. Now that I am ready to book my vacation, I am finding out that I need to join a 90 min timeshare tour at each of the hotel locations that I attend. There are over 5 hotels in the the package. That means I need to attend 5 90-min timeshare tours. This was never raised in the marketly material sold to us. All they said in the marketing call was that we needed to provide our honest feedback on the hotels that we stay at. We could have saved our $350 and joined 90-min timeshare locations for free at any of the participating accomodations. I am not sure why vacation smart took $350 from us. What does the customer get from it? We could have just stayed at a timeshare for free and joined a 90-min tour instead of paying $350 to stay at a timeshare and joining a 90-min tour. The marketing call was a scam. Don’t fall for it. Save your money and if you ever get a call from Best Vacations Ever, hang up right away to save your money.
