I bought my wife a leather coat from Burlington Coat Factory for a Christmas present. I brought it home and my daughter wrapped it for me. When my wife put it on on Christmas day the zipper broke after 5 minutes. I called the store to try to get in touch with a manager to see if I could exchange it. No manager was available even tho the store was open. nEvery time I called no manager was available. I went to the store later in the week. They took the coat and noticed a stain on the inside. They told us they could not exchange the coat. I explained when I got the coat it went from their bag to a box, which I had to buy. That’s how cheap the store is even at holiday time, and was only touched on Christmas morning. They insisted that they could not exchange the coat and were hesitant at fixing the zipper. They agreed to fix the zipper and said it would take 2 weeks to do that. I said that their policy was unacceptable to me. I paid a lot of money for that coat and they still would not honor my request for an exchange. I stormed out of the store and vowed I would never shop there.
