Please read if you are planning to purchase a ticket fromnCheapoair. You might thank me later. I took a trip to the Philippines in early 2011. Originally,nI purchased a round-trip ticket for about $1,000. My connecting flight was missed in SannFrancisco (my fault). The airlinesninstructed me to work it out with the agency which sold me the ticket in thenfirst place, Cheapoair. They told me I could take another flight out in twondays (the earliest) and could have the difference in my ticket refunded to me.nHowever, they told me I would have to pay for another round-trip ticket upfrontn(about $1,600). Later, the AIRLINES were going to refund my money, they toldnme. They also said it would take about two months to get my refund. After spending two days in San Francisco, Incaught the scheduled flight and finished my trip. After two months, I contacted both the airlines andnCheapoair to see where my refund was. nBelow are three emails received from Cheapoair. This does not include the phone conversationnand my attempts to connect via their website. 1) If I am not entitled to a refund, I should have been toldnthat before purchasing another ticket. 2) If I was sold a ticket and informed incorrectly, mostnreputable companies would eat the cost and refund the money anyway, especiallynsince an authorized representative PROMISED via phone AND email. 3) ALL reputable companies would communicate quickly tonresolve an issue relating to their services. nCheapoair rates VERY POORLY in this regard. They ignore your communication often (unlessnyou are purchasing from them). If I would have known that it would cost me $2,600+ to takenmy trip, I would have made other plans!
