I represent a large group of lighting professionals who have ordered theatrical and night club lighting from Chen Imports.com and a Brian Toivonen. His tactic is to get you to send money up front and then tell you that he failed to read the fine print in his contract with the factory in Taiwan and that they are asking for an order of at least 12 lights to make the assembly line worthwhile. nSome people actually sent more money, but I did a search on the internet and found that the company in China has not done business in two years with this crook since he owes them over $20,000 and they do not have my funds NOR did they ask for more money. Then, Mr. Toivonen specializes in sending you lights that he found at a garage sale somewhere that do not work and are not even close to what you ordered. This is if you are lucky enough to get anything for your money. nSo many people have complained to the postal fraud inspection unit after seeing his ad in PLSN and then sending money to Chen Imports. We have filed a criminal complaint and authored an article in several lighting publications of buyer beware. nPaulnSF, CaliforniaU.S.A.
