Worst experience of my life. I couldn’t believe the unprofessional behavior displayed by the nurse and the doctor who cared for my son. The nurse refused to scan my son’s medical records from his prior doctor’s office. When I explained to her in detail that the records contained more than just “sick visits” and “wellness check-ups”,
she told me to bring the inch thick records to each and every appointment. She also stated that it would be difficult for the doctors to actually review them in their electronic system. My father took my son to get his height and weight and the nurse didn’t come back to the room to even tell me what his height and weight until I asked.
Dr. Tae was completely unprofessional. She told me that my son had “special needs”. My son is healthy. She said that I should see a different doctor on the staff because they would be more attentive to my son’s medical history than Dr. Atiyeh.
She also said that the doctor who I scheduled my wellness visit, Dr. Atiyeh, would essentially not be attentive and that their practice runs similar to a clinic in that they only allot 15 minutes for wellness visits and with this other doctor I would get double that time. I was completely disgusted. She looked at my son’s medical records for 3 minutes and told me she got all the important information from it and told me to bring the records back again. I’m not really sure how she was able to extract the important information in less than 3 minutes with over 50 pages of records.
Do not bring your child there. The staff that I dealt with do not want to be bothered with actually taking the time to get to know you or your child’s medical issues. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to my worst enemy.
