On 8/22/00 I was foolish enough to purchase a Maytag Neptune washer as an “open box”” buy from Circuit City. The machine was malfunctioning by January to the point that I called Maytag for service. I did find out that this machine had been returned to CC for the same problem I was reporting (failure to properly spin clothes).nI also learned that CC’c basic attitude was TOO d**n BAD. nAfter the FIRST repair

i was able to hear what a properly running machine sounded like and I realized that it had been broken from day one. I am now into my second service call for malfunction

and can only hope the California lemon law will kick in after repair number three. nI also learned that the sales people have NO ACCESS TO PREVIOUS SERVICE RECORDS
