In January 5, 2007, my uncle Joel Pedroza began working in the Meadowood Mall for the late night shift. I am writting this for him due to the fact that he can not type in English nor does he know any English. nHe is asking me to report that Up to date he has not received his first check. Today’s date is: February 27, 2007. He has been calling the manager Vanesa Maya for over a month and a half asking for his first check. He has litteraly been given the big run around. nHe is continually told that his first check will come in the mail. As in, “Wait until this coming Tuesday and you’ll receive it””

My uncle was told about a week ago by one of the other employees that a meeting was held with Vanesa Maya and some other superiors about missing checks from other employees aswell. nShe was given a certain amount of time to give back the checks.
