This used to be a good practice, but over the years, all of the doctors went “consierge” which means they took a VERY LARGE upfront fee to guarantee their care – but accepted no insurance. In other words, they treat the rich.

The last time I was there, I was given a 15 minute exam of which one woman’s care lab came back faulty. The doctor (who is no longer there) wouldn’t redo the test for free or cover the cost of the retest even though it was her fault it wasn’t done properly. When I spoke to the office manager, I was given no other options.
