I purchased a PC through Egghead. This PC was supplied by Elite PC in Arizona ( Address:Computers Wholesale — 2010 E. University Drive Suite 26, Tempe, AZ 85281nEmail: [email protected] — Phone: 480-317-0825 — Fax: 480-317-0826). It was advertised it was new and would ship within 10 business days. On the 10th business day I contacted Egghead and Elite PC to see where the computer was. Elite said they were running 3 days behind. Needless to say my customer wasn’t happy but I accepted it. I received a report in the mail stating the PC was shipped overnight Fed Ex on April 12th(5 days late not 3). I received the computer on April 17th. About 3 and a half weeks after ordering. I formatted the hard drive and loaded the Operating system and it crashed. Major hardware failure. They sent me a piece of junk. I contacted Elite and the said I would have to pay a re stocking fee of 15% along with the shipping costs plus make the phone call to them. After all they put me through they are still charging me a lot of money for junk they sent me. I can see the restocking fee if I wasn’t satisfied with theperformance but not for sending me junk.
