I found this website online, it popped up a lot and it was on travel zoo a lot which I know a few people who book their trips through them so I figured that EUROPEANDESTINATIONS.COM was a legit business. First off they will advertise airfares that aren’t available and offer this great price, when you go to book it they will claim that the airfare is no longer available. Annoying but oh well what can you do. I talked to an agent on the phone they told me about an available airfare and package that was available while I was on the phone with her I went online. I was able to book this trip, pay for it, confirm it, get a confirmation/booking number for my trip and the whole nine yards. Later I get an email from the website stating that air was not confirmed due to a system error and to please call them to confirm everything. When I called they tried to change the price on me, when I asked for a supervisor they wouldn’t let me talk to one. They’ve been emailing me saying that either I need to pay hundreds more dollars (they keep changing the amount) or to cancel. They sold me a trip and won’t give me my flight until I pay hundreds more. They sold it to me for one price then after I bought it they are trying to give me a different price of hundreds more dollars. This is vacation season and I want vacationer’s to beware of this sight. This doesn’t seem ethical, does anybody have any suggestions of who to contact or what else to do? It seems against the law to sell a consumer something then after they pay for it try to change the price. nNDnbay area, CaliforniaU.S.A.
