Complaint: The AC went out at my ex wifes’ apartment last friday. They have not sent anyone to repair or replace it. She called them twice to report it and ask when someone would be coming, and I called once. Whenever you call them, they say that they will get right back to you with a time. They never do. I went to drop off her rent payment today and ask about it. I was told that they would call the maintainance guy right then. They then berated me because she has been paying her rent out of her second pay each month instead of the first. the rent and late fee gets paid, just a little late each month untill she can get back on schedule. It was made clear to me in a round about way that they don’t repair untill the rent is paid each month. (It always gets paid). It is in the middle of the worst heat wave of the summer and it was 101 degrees in the apartment Saturday when I was sitting and waiting for them to come and fix it while she was gone. The property manager is named Kendra Farren. Their web site advertises 24 hour maintanance to their investors. What a lie. The building is supposedly owned by Mohave Rose Realty LLC. A google search of this firm turned up nothing. It leads me to wonder if that isn’t a shell corporation set up for tax benefits. I know that corporations do this all the time to avoid paying full taxes. Nobody should be without AC in this heat.
