Upon arrival to the hotel booked on line (with confirmation email and number in hand) found that there were no rooms avaliable and the reservation did not exist. From the hotel lobby I called the customer service number to find that there had been a computer glitch in the reservation process. I booked Batesville, MS and the computer recognized it as Batesville, IN. The resprsenative admitted the glithch, but was unwilling to refund the $461.16 already charged to my credit card. It was a college ball game weekend with NO rooms avaliable. Had to travel 1.5 hours further and out of the way to find a room. I understand techincal glitches occour but their UNWILLINGNESS to refund my money and their RUDE BEHAVIOR is just wrong. HotelsOne was paid $461.00 and I received nothing in return. Actually acquired extra travel expenses due to the inadequacies of this company. Went back to research the booking process making sure I had done everything correctly. My computer history showed I had searched Batesville, Mississippi not Indiana and the confirmation email did not include the state (just the city Batesville) Therfore, I was not able to pick up on the computer glitch ahead of time. HotelsOne says it is my responsibility to recognize the computer glitch. I ask HOW?
