I have tried all avenues to talk to these people, but not have not received any assistance to make this right. After talking to Miguel (employee#1578) for what seems to be over an hour going back to the beginning of the conversation over and over. He finally tells me this is what you picked and this is non-refundable not mentioning the Insurance I purchased to protect myself from such flawed systems. After putting me on hold for over 10 times, he comes back with the first solution of one King bed with a roll a bed for a room that was handicapped accessible. A roll a bed, seriously for two handicapped people one in wheelchair, when I am trying to give my parents a 4 star hotel treatment? I ask you is that fair? nI have even offered Miguel to see if we could search for another 4 star Hotel that would accommodate us with a 2 queen or double bed with a roll in shower? with utmost non-sensitive tone and remorse he says NO, this is the best offer they have for me, Non-refundable and non-negotiable, not to mention the insurance I purchased even once. it was obvious that he is not the one making the decisions, so I asked for another escalation. He replied back to me that the Buck stops with him, leaving me no choice but to come here and warn everyone else NOT TO GO TO HOTWIRE THAT THEY ARE RIP OFF!!n nMy Parents are both under my care, and I cannot afford to dish out another $1200 for accommodations that suites them for their anniversary and my Dad’s 80th Birthday. I don’t know what to do here…I will be grateful to anyone that can offer me a solution to fight these Internet tyrants who hide behind their shambles.
