I ordered 3 x bridesmaid dresses & 1 x flowergirl dress from Houseofbrides.com in March last and paid extra money for a rush order. I rang them within 24 hours of placing the order as the money had been taken from my credit card but I had received no confirmation of my order. One of their staff members confirmed that the order was alright.nI tried to communicate with them via email and via their internet portal since them but I received no response. nAt massive expense to me, I called them from Dublin, Ireland on 5 occasions to find out what had happened to my order when I had received no confirmation that they had placed my order with the designers. Eventually, last week I discovered, following 5 x 30 minute international phone calls that they had taken my money but NEVER placed the order with the designer. nI requested my monies be refunded to me so that I could make other arrangements as I have no other money to purchase my dresses. I was informed that I would be refunded over 2 weeks ago now. nLast Thursday I called them to tell them that I had not received the money I was owed. They confirmed that they had not refunded me yet and they may do it within the next 10 business days. My credit card company cannot claim the money from them as they have given me assurances that they will refund me directly.nTheir customer service is unbelievable, I never received a return email or phone call – they took my money but never placed my order. nDo not use this online store. nCaitrionanDublinIreland
