Back in February of 2007, I purchased a Pre-order for the “Bob Mackie/Cher/Farewell Tour/Limited Edition doll. I had been hearing that this doll was going to be limited to only 999 World Wide and wanted to secure it for my collection. I was excited when I was able to do so with this merchant and sent my credit card number to her to bill for a holding deposit and for which the balance would be billed open delievery. nI had heard that the dolls were to be released in July or August 2007 so on July 1

2007 after hearing nothing from this merchant and no new news on the website

I contacted Island of Dolls to see if they knew when my Limited Edition Cher Doll would be sent. nSomeone named “”Bettina”” wrote be back about how her distributor of the doll saw how the doll was in such high demand (selling for over $500.00 on Ebay without even being released yet) so he said he was going to charge her $500.00 per doll instead of the agreed upon price( which I am sure was well below the $299.00 she was charging me!) nShe told me before she refunded any money she wanted to check some other sources

which later she informs me that TOYSRUS is the only one who would sell them and they had had their pre-sale back in April 2007. Having thought I had already secured my order with Island of Dolls

I didn’t try to purchase one from TOYSRUS. Had this merchant informed me she would not be able to supply me with what I ordered
