I sent a cheque (money order) to Kazikes, as they don’t accept a debit card which can only be used in the UK. This was for a dvd boxset which was becoming rare, and they said that had the last one and would save it for me. nI posted the cheque by recorded delivery. It arrived on 10th November, but no-one was available to sign for it, the post office held it. They confirmed they have it when Filipo Zita signed and collected it, and told me the dvd’s will be shipped the next day. It should have arrived by 30th November. nI contacted them from around 10th December for days in a rows asking when were dvd’s posted. They never replied, but I got confirmation e-mails were received and will reply within 24-48 hours. They never did. nBy 16th December I found out the cheque wasn’t cashed. I e-mailed again for order to be cancelled and for a refund. Without reminding them it wasn’t cashed, and I cancelled the cheque in the mean time. I still didn’t hear from them. nI let them know around 20th December the cheque was not cashed and to return it. Thankfully the cheque was cancelled on 23rd December, and I left Kazikes alone from there and I got my dvd’s elsewhere. nThen I recieved a letter from them that the order was cancelled because the cheque was cancelled. I looked at the date on the cheque to see when it was stamped: 4th January 2005. So, they would have ripped me off. Only I reminded them too late they hadn’t banked it. nI e-mailed them about this, and [email protected] replied they never received e-mails to cancel the order. nYnCroydon, OntarioUnited Kingdom
