Milano Collection san diego California Review

I happened to be going into a local credit union, when I was suddenly approached by a gentleman in a white van. The man was dressed in a very expensive looking suit and had a very pronounced Italian accent. He began to give a story stating he was on his way to Fashion Show in Italy and was in a hurry to get rid of several jackets he could not carry with him. nHe told me the Jackets were Versace and that they were each valued at approx $1000.00 each but he would be willing to sell them for $500.00. I told him I was not interested when he then pulled out 2 other jackets and said he would sell me all three for $500.00. I again refused his offer and he stated he was willing to take an offer for them. I still refused but he was quite persitant. So I told him I would give him $100 for all three jackets. I figured why not, it’s a great deal for 3 genuine leather Versace jackets. nWhen I came home I discovered that the jackets were not real. Not only were they designer knock offs, they were not even genuine leather. These jackets gave off a very strong pundgent odor. nSince I initially purchased these I have spoken to several people in the area who have had the same scam pulled on them. A few days later this same van was in the parking lot of my job when a customer was approached by the simialr salesman selling the same jackets. About a month later I again was at a bank and AGAIN was approached by a similar gentleman selling the same jackets. When I confronted him and told him that someone else sold me the same jackets ,I also asked for my money back. The guy told me that they never state the jackets are real versace. nI filed a report to the San Diego police department but have had no reply from them. I also have researched it a bit and there are alot of people all over the United States who have been a vcitim of this scam. I was on Ebay and saw many people selling these jackets and saying they aquired them from a similar gentleman with the same story as mine. The sales man gave his business card and the phone numbers from this “Italian man”” are from Mexican prefix and the email address was mocking the people who bought these jackets because it is non exsistant and is [email protected]. Which I did. nI recently seen a segmant on our local news channel 6 about the surround sound speaker skam being sold out of a van outside banks. I immediately related that story to my own situaution and decided to write about this to prevent these acts on unsuspecting people looking for a good deal. nI am hoping this will help prevent others from being a victim of this scam and help put an end to this. nLuisnsan diego
