I had had the flu and was still coughing and > to recover at the beach and to visit friend in Playacar. > Natalye, the manager assured me that the beach was beautiful > in Xcaret and if we were not happy we could check into the > Allegro the following day. She showed me photos of the hotel > on the Internet, and the picture showed a beautiful beach, > so we went. BIG MISTAKE. There is NO BEACH, just rocks and a > small man made “lagoon” that is filled with water from the > underground river, not even salt water. The hotel is in the > jungle! The water was so cold that people from Canada could > not go in the underground river water. > > We were not happy being lied to about the situation and > irate when we couldn’t get into the Allegro.
