Old Oak Tree Inn old, oak, tree, thieves, steal, hotel, London, Inn Southall United Kingdom!!

I booked 5 nights (May 27th thru June 1st 2013) with “Old Oak Tree Inn” problem was my Credit Card (C.C.) was shut down from the US due to a few bookings I had already made in Europe. I got my C.C. turned back on & “Old Oak Tree Inn” told me that the Manager was going to re-run my C.C. the next day when he/she was in. This went on for 3 days & the “Old Oak Tree Inn” never attempted to charge my card again so I could get my reservation booked. I booked the “Old Oak Tree Inn” thru Booking.com, so I was working thru/with Booking.com yet “Old Oak Tree Inn” failed to do their part to get me booked. After 3 days of C.C. not being re-ran by the “Old Oak Tree Inn.” I confirmed with Booking.com that I was able to cancel the attempted booking with the “Old Oak Tree Inn” & Booking.com called the “Old Oak Tree Inn” & it was confirmed that since my C.C. had never worked, I was able to cancel without a cancelation fee. I booked another place in London & went to Europe/U.K. for a Month Vacation. On 7/15/13 my C.C. (the same one) was charged $74.43 by the “Old Oak Tree Inn.” I am working thru Booking.com to get my money back from the “Old Oak Tree Inn.” Also on 7/21/13, I called the “Old Oak Tree Innu201d & spoke with a male subject that answered & told him that my reservation was canceled without a fee, so why were they charged my C.C. & why over a Month later as well. He said it was a cancel fee. I told him that my C.C. was never able to be charged at all by them & they (Old Oak Tree Inn) told Booking dot com that there would be no cancel fee because of that. I told him that I wanted my F-ing money refunded as the “Old Oak Tree Inn” took my money fraudulently & NEVER should have charged my C.C. at all. He replied, “F-You we are keeping your money.” I told him that I was going to write an extremely bad review about the “Old Oak Tree Inn” everywhere I can & he replied, “Go ahead we don’t care.” I then called Booking.com & reported my conversation with the man at the “Old Oak Tree Inn” & Booking.com then called the “Old Oak Tree Inn” & the man I spoke with had a different tone with the Rep from Booking.com, but also told the Booking.com Rep that they are not going to refund my money. Booking.com has now escalated the matter to an internal investigation team & Booking.com told me that they (Booking.com) will be refunding my money since the “Old Oak Tree Inn” will not. In the several conversations I have had with Booking.com, I have been told every time that the “Old Oak Tree Inn” has no right to take any money from me & my C.C. should have never been charged or even still on file (after over a Month) with the “Old Oak Tree Inn.” I am now going into the 2nd week of this matter & still do not have a refund for the $74.43 – I truly hope that Booking.com, Trip Advisor, and every other Company that is promoting the “Old Oak Tree Inn” takes notice of the fraudulent activity the “Old Oak Tree Inn” has done to me & those Companies cancel their relationship with the “Old Oak Tree Inn.” If this review (as well as many other NEGATIVE REVIEWS) of what happened to me by the “Old Oak Tree Inn” doesn’t detour you from booking your stay at the “Old Oak Tree Inn” you better keep a very close eye on your C.C. statements going forward for a very long time! I have a bad feeling that the “Old Oak Tree Inn” has been doing what they did to me (stealing money) to others for a long time & are going to continue in their Fraudulent Activities!
