“Bug” detected in computer need to pay up front


My Complaint: for the past several months, we have received a phone call aboout every two weeks saying this company (Omni Tech) has been monitoring our computer and have detected a bug which must be removed. It always cost money and we are not to pay by credit card b/c hackers are waiting to scam our account so we must pay by green dot card. Over this weekend, we first sent them a green dot card for $300.00 then they said that was to much and we must send them one for $250.00 before they can send the (to much) card back. When we sent the card for $250.00 they had an excuse why they could not send the original card back unless we sent an additional card for $500.00. Over this weekend we have sent them $550.00. Over the past few months we have sent them appx. $1350.00.


My Demand: at least partial money return/ and cease business
