Private Furniture Warehouse – Brad Boise Idaho Review

In the search for a new matress I stumbled upon an ad in the classified section of the local newspaper. The ad read QUEEN SIZE DOUBLE PILLOW TOP SET still in plastic $150. It sounded like a great deal, too great infact but I thought it was worth looking into since they spelled everything out for me. I didn’t expect much but the ad was very specific about the type of matress and price. I made an appointment to come to the warehouse that they are storing everything in because it is not open to the public. nOnce inside I was directed towards matresses that were in fact very nice but at a MUCH higher price. The guy helping me kept hedging around the subect of the ad and would not answer my questions directly. Finally after getting very frustrated I demanded to see the queen double pillowtop set for 150. nI was lead into a corner with a dinky matress leaning against the wall that looked old and used. It was not new in the plastic nor was it a pillow top or even a queen size matress. The guy tried to tell me that double pillow top just means that there is padding on both sides of the matress (as if I am a complete idiot) and proceeded to tell me that there was a whopping 1/8 of an inch of padding on both sides! nThey had everything set up so that you think you are getting this great deal but even the nice matresses they had were more expensive than what you would pay for at retail price. They inflated listing prices drastically to make the high “discount”” prices seem more appetizing. They had used matresses that you could buy at a second hand store in better condition for $20 and they said that they listed for $800 but would give it to me for $200! nThere are two places that I know of in the area that are doing this same thing. The ads are completely false and they should not be allowed to advertise something that has not a shred of truth to it. My opinion is that the person behind this (who goes by Brad and happens to be a matress distributer for a furniture company) is getting these matresses for free by default

or stealing them somehow and making some serious money off of the suckers that buy the act. nSomething needs to be done to let peole know that this is a scam and to stay away from these type of set ups. These are not businesses and are most likley making a 100% profit. Stay away! nTaranBoise
