Charging for rooms they are not honoring
I booked a room for 2 nights at the Ramada Inn in Grand Junction, CO. When we checked in, the Ramada had no reservation for us. I called Hotels.com and they faxed my reservation to Ramada. They first tried to cancel my reservation and send me to a different hotel but they said they would charge Ramada $100/night for the cancelled reservations. Ramada honored their reservation but hotels.com only paid for one night when I had prepaid for 2 nights. Ramada Inn called and tried to collect from me for the second night which I had already prepaid to hotels.com.
