Fraudulent script and billing insurance
Solicitor phone call stated they would like to send rx for compounding cream for back pain relief. (I had surgery but did not solicit for anything) caller put a nurse on to get info regarding pain and scars and I stated my physician would have to approve, 2 weeks later several creams came to my home by fed x. I called Agevital Pharmacy who made the cream, asked who wrote script and approved. I never saw the physician that wrote script, and never asked for this. A few days later I get explanation of benefits from my insurance and they actually paid this pharmacy close to 8000.00 , 30 day supply of cream. I called insurance and reported and asked why they paid and explained this was fraud. The pharmacy solicitor called once again and stated they needed some information from me to refill. I stated I didn’t want it… guess what Fed x delivered again!
