on may 19, 02, I purchased a Troy Built lawn tractor from Sam’s club, purchasing the 3 year extended warranty. the following summer it went to the service center for much of the summer.. nOn June 23, 04 the hydrostat transmission went out.. at which time I called the extended warranty number. speaking to Ashley. to be given the run around.. on the 24th I called again, speaking to Rick, with more run around. nOn the 28th, I spoke with Dan who made arrangements for the service center to pick up the lawn tractor. nOn July, 7 I called the service center to check on how the Tractor was coming along.. was told they couldn’t do anything to it untill the warranty people faxed them authorization. I called the warranty people again getting Erin,(who I find out later is a supervisor) she expressed concern and would take care of this immediately. nOn Aug. 24, I called the service center again to check on getting the tractor.. the grass is getting high.. was told they still had not gotten the authorization.. ncalled the warranty people again, rather upset, got Erin again, she told me they were working on a buy out instead of repairing the tractor since the cost of repair was 80% of the new cost of the tractor.. non the 26th I called the warranty people back, talked to Brian, was told they were going to fix the tractor… ask to speak to Erin… she said she would check into it.. nOn the 30th, I called the service center.. they told me they would not fix the tractor they were tired of the warranty people messing them around, and that they hadn’t been paying for repairs they had already done.. nso I called the Warranty people, spoke with Clarence, telling him what the service center has told me.. he tells me he will check on it… I ask to speak with Erin. She tells me the man who makes the decision says there will be no buy out… and the tractor will be repaired by a service center in Terre Haute. nSept. 14, I call the service center who has my mower to see if the other service center had picked it up.. NO they had not… I called the Warranty People and spoke with Jamie, who informed me the first service center was going to “dump it out at my place and the other service center can pick it up>”” Really a nasty attitude… nTommorrow I will be filing suit in small claims court..nI hope this will help someone else… nKenncarbon
