St. Vincent Anderson indiana

My name is Kelly gimple.I will start with my deceased father Leslie d gimple who died of sudden infection last March 20 2018…my father went to your er 2 times. The first time was with severe back pain, had to go by ambulance. After blood tests and X-ray thy said it was probably a muscle spasm, pain meds were not helping. The doctor (which I found out later was a nurse practitioner). Said we could do an abdominal ultrasound, but I really don’t expect to find anything. I asked dean and he said I’m in pain and he said it probably wouldn’t show anything, so forget it. Had he said we should probably do an abdominal scan we would have done it. Brought him home, continued to get worse, but he hated to go back up there because he was in so much pain. I noticed his breathing and fever and called ambulance. Immediately got a doctor that acted very fast, he knew he was just in there. He came back and said kidneys, liver, were shutting down and he was septic. I asked him if we had done the ultrasound would it have shown anything, he said yes his liver was huge. Did everything we could but couldn’t get him off the ventilator. I struggled with this. If he had worded it different I could maybe have still had him. Kelly gimple told by my nurse practionioner to go to er immediately and when I went I received very vague and minimal care..was told it was going to have run its course..only blood was taken no scans of abdomen no relief for extreme discomfort…I have Hep A and Hep C have been sick for a month epithet cellulitis as well…reoccurring cellulitis which was not even looked at or mentioned hardly knowing I had to stop antibiotics for it due to nasea…so here I sit at home no nasea meds no anti biopics no answers I’m in pain and my liver enzymes are high as well as bilyrubin and a huge sore on my rear end going un treated Needless to say I’m upset
