I recently ordered some memory for my computer from Tiger Direct. When I ordered the memory, I ordered 2 sticks at $50 each. When the memory arrived, it was NOT what I had ordered; in fact it would not even work with the motherboard in my computer. It took 45 minutes on the phone to get a return authorization number to return the memory sticks. They received the memory two days after I sent it back to them, which was on Friday, August 10th. nI called them on Tuesday the 14th to check and see if the replacement had been sent out. They informed me that it would be 5 days before they would process it. Not wanting to wait, I canceled my order and was told that the money would be put back into the bank the next day. I called them again on Thursday, they then told me I wouldnt get my money back for 3-5 days. nI called them, yet again, on Friday, they told me this time that it would be 5-7 days before my money would be returned to my bank account. It is now a over week later and they still have NOT put the money back into the bank. When I called them on Monday, they told me it had been authorized to go into the bank tomorrow, but tomorrow still didnt get here. I called again on Thursday, they told me that my money had been put on hold as tiger credit, and had been on hold for several days. nAccording to the supervisor that I talked to the money would be immediately transferred back into my bank account, but it still isnt there. It is a shame that getting your money back for a mistake that THEY made takes so much time and effort. nThomasnRussell Springs, KentuckyU.S.A.
