I sheduled a 3 night stay through Expedia checking in on March 23rd 2018, checking out March 26th 2018. Upon arrival to check in the desk staff informed me that the hotel had charged me a no show fee for March 22nd. I pulled up my expedia itinary and showed him that I was never scheduled to check in a day earlier. He agreed, but said that in order for them to issue a refund I would have go through expedia, have them call the hotel and ask to speak to Mayra the hotel manager. I did so immedately after paying cash for my check in and deposit. Expedia put me on hold in an attempt to reach the hotel that never answered the phone, so the expedia repressenative left a message for Mayra and told me they would update me via email on the refund. When I checked out on the 26th there was still no word of a refund, no contact and although I tried to talk to the manager of the hotel while staying there she was always unavailable. I called expedia again on the 27th, went through the same process, this time the hotel answered, put expedia through to a voice mail and again the hotel manager never returned their call or my messages as well. I called again today on March 30th and finally got somewhere with the hotel finally answering and saying they would inniate a refund, I am told that it will take 3 to 5 business days, so we shall see.
