Purchase Date 10/09/13 for a 4 night stay at 2 choices of 3 Florida Destinations plus $100 dine around rebate.Expiration date 10/09/14 Paid $69 plus $100 deposit when reservations were made on June 2, 2014 for October 5-6-Orlando and 7-8 Daytona, FL. This made the trip just before my expiration date and the woman setting the dates up confirmed this. One week before my vacation, Trip incentives called me and confirmed that I was still going on the trip and asked me all my information again: My name, address, age, my children that were accompanying me which I stated would just be the one that was 9 years old, my salary and so on. Everything was ok and on schedule. On the night of 10/2 14 I was checking my messages and was told that my trip had been canceled due to a child of 25 traveling with me and that I was traveling after my expiration date. Both of these were false (I might have originally told them in June that a 25 year old was traveling but nothing was said about it and when I confirmed the week before this was changed). I immediately called the number back but it was too late to get in touch with anyone at that time. I called during business hours the next morning only to be told the system was down and they would call back. Informed them I had to cancel my car rental within the hour. Still no call so I canceled my car rental and called back. I was told that it had been canceled due to the 25 year old child which I explained that I stated the week before he was not traveling with us and the reservation was confirmed again. The woman on the phone would not have any other information and offered no help. She then transferred me to Jessica in customer service which sent me straight to voice mail. After not getting a call back I called again and left another message and then another. Four hours later no return call and I am very upset. Not only did they take my $169 they waited until the last minute to let me know this was canceled. I had planned this trip for 6 months, took off work, bought tickets to attractions in Orlando and rented a vehicle only to be told the last minute it was canceled. I was only given a day to respond and had not luck reaching anyone that could help me. Trip incentives ended up costing me my vacation, alot of money and time and now I have to tell my son we cannot go to the beach! They had 6 months to let me know there was an issue to try and fix. They did not even give me a chance to fix the issue or talk to someone that could help me. I work hard for my vacation days and for it to be a total disaster that could have been avoided had me very very upset!
