In July, I placed an order on Unclaimed Diamond’s web-site. The price was thousands below retail and a steal. I placed the ring in lay-away and made a deposit through the site with my credit card. nA week later, I wanted to make a payment on my lay-away and found out that I couldn’t do so on the web. I either has to my mail, in person (take a 45 minute drive into the city) or make a telephone payment with my credit card. nAt the end of July, I took the drive to Philly to make the full payment and pick up my ring. When I got there, it took the staff over an hour (seriously) to find my paperwork. When they did find it, I was told that the ring was ordered when I placed my web order and that I could take up to 7-10 weeks before it arrives. I was pissed, this information isn’t anywhere on their site. nUnclaimed has a lay-away policy that is non-refundable. nThey only allow store credit. nAt the beginning of this month (November 2005), a staff member from Unclaimed called me and asked (very rudely) “What are you gonna do about your lay-away?”” I told her that if the ring wasn’t there yet that I didn’t want it at all. nSince the store has a no cash refund policy
I had to take out another lay-away with my store credit.nUnclaimed doesn’t values customers in the least. I will never go back or refer anyone. nSandranTrenton
