I agreed to pay a change fee of $150 to move my flight from a Saturday to Sunday. United was late getting into Eagle Airport in Colorado and I missed my Denver connection. I stood in line at the customer service desk for 90 minutes and ended up missing my important Monday morning meeting because they couldn’t get me on another plane Sunday night. nUnited charged $273 on my credit card. I don’t know where the extra $123 came from as it was not disclosed. They are refusing to credit this back to me. Why should I pay any extra money over the cost of my original ticket when they failed to get me on the very plane I was paying extra for? Unbelievable!
