Zellers seems to becoming known for ripping you off when it comes to having a sale. nNumerous times I have experienced this in the store. I have had many people tell me the same thing. My mother has had some problems with them many times as well. nThey are forever posting prices for things and when you go to ring them in they come up much more expensive that what they are posted as. Then they proceed to argue with you and refuse to give you the publically posted price. nThey also have a habit of putting signs up for sales, and then refusing to give you the sale. Or they just don’t give you the discount that is marked on the sign. nTwice in the past month I have gone in Zellers and bought items on sale, and both times they didn’t ring in the sale discount. I have had to go back in the store and have them correct it. They also refused to give me the sale price on a shirt for my daughter. nIt was marked as $10.00. When I took it up to the customer service counter to get the dicount they forgot on something earlier, I tried to purchase another shirt on sale, on the same rack. nThe sign clearly stated that there was 25% off, and then take another 40 or 50% off the already sale price. Well, when I took it up, the lady told me that the blue ticket was the fimal price. I told her that there was nothing posted anywhere saying that the blue ticket was final price. nShe proceeded to tell me “well someone was supposed to post it.”” I in turn told her that no one had posted anything. So
the she asked if it was 10% off
and when i told her no
it was an extra 40 or 50% (I can’t remember which)
she told me
